Irikal Ltd. is a start-up company specializing in the development, production and marketing of innovative sensors for irrigation control in hydroponics.

EC (Electrical Conductivity) is a measure of total amount of soluble salts
The sensors measure quantity (Litres) and quality (EC) of the drainage water, compare them with those of irrigation water and produce a reliable indication for further irrigation. The ultimate goal is reaching optimal yield by avoiding salinity stress to the crop.

Irikal was established in 2001 by Noam Shachar, the inventor and entrepreneur, within the framework of Kinarot - Technological Incubator.
